Afternoon game, cloudy and windy (68 deg), 15486 (new Romney Stadium record) - Aggies in control most of the way until Cougars, behind the passing of Gary Sheide, launched desperation drive with 1:08 left in the game...clock ran out with the Cougars in possession on the four-yard line...Sheide completed five passes on the drive...one pass went to Lynn Zwahlen in the end zone, but he fell out of bounds...Archie Gibson rushed for 135 yards and Al Knapp kicked two field goals...freshman Mark Terranova scored BYU's only TD, a 20-yard jaunt to tie score 7-7 in second quarter...Ags had only 218 yards total offense, 66 less than Cougars.
