Clear skies and fair weather drew a mere 19,628 out to Cougar Stadium for the second WAC game...and the Cats took an early lead and never looked back after the first quarter score of 21-7...Sheide completed 27 of 40 for 388 yards and 5 TDs to spearhead the Cougar victory...three of the TD passes saw Jeff Nilsson on the receiving end...on the ground Jeff Blanc provided the thrills rushing for 89 yards and another TD...Blanc also caught a TD pass and, in the process, racked up another 90 yards in seven receptions...Cougars had 542 total offensive yards to UTEP's 332.
