The kicking of Lee Pistor and the sterling play of Theopolis Bell provided the Wildcats with a 19-0 lead at halftime...the Cougars bounced back in the second half with Gifford Nielsen connecting on 9 straight passes...but it was all "T" Bell, who set up scores with kickoff returns of 71 and 66 yards and caught two 23-yard TD passes...Blanc was stopped with 68 yards on 22 carries...27,882 saw the game...Wildcats did not give up a fumble or pass interception.
